With over 25 years of community, public, and civil service, I have a BA in Business Administration emphasizing on Human Resource Development, Non-Profit Management and Marketing and Communications. I am also a proud 2011 graduation of the UW Odyssey Project.
I have volunteered for many organizations, including The River Food Pantry, Middleton Outreach Ministry, Southside Raider Cheerleaders, Nehemiah, FOSTER of Dane, Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness, Urban League Young Professionals, United Way Women’s Leadership Council, Urban Triage, UJAMAA Business Network, UMOJA Magazine, Urban League Guild, and EOTO. I am also a proud member of Madison’s Friendship Chapter No. 2, Order of the Eastern Star, State of WI, Prince Hall Affiliation. I am determined to change the narrative of the economically disadvantaged to be advantaged. My entire life has been guided to help people who battle with getting life back on track. Born and raised in Chicago, I moved to Madison for education and a better life.
In my spare time, you can catch me in the gym, cooking, singing karaoke, bowling, excelling in my baking business, spending time with family, and traveling with the love of my life, Lawrence. I love sports – I’m a fan of the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Bulls, and the Chicago White Sox.
