Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra’s “Harmony in Black” – October 13
Odyssey is thrilled to have the opportunity to take 60 students to Harmony in Black with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. We’d love for Odyssey supporters to join us at the Overture Center for a pre-show discussion and performance celebrating the “convergence of artistry, diversity, and compositional brilliance” as part of the WCO’s Musical Landscapes in Color project, which aims to highlight works of living composers of color. This year’s program features pieces by acclaimed Black composers Bill Banfield and Patrice Rushen.
