Adult Oracle

In Odyssey, students develop their skills in writing and critical analysis and at the same time find their unique voice. Excerpts of student work—prose, poetry, and essays—are published in the monthly Oracle journal, along with colorful photos from class. Students read aloud from the Oracle in class, building their confidence in speaking, while also learning more about their fellow classmates.

“Thanks to the Odyssey Project, I am learning that I can write stories that can make people feel, look, think, and give emotional responses. By just writing about simple things in my life—my child, my mom, and myself—I’m able to grow as a person and as a writer.”
